Active Indy Tours
If you want to explore the city by walking, biking, and even running, check out Active Indy Tours. Ride along the culture trail and through Indy's historic neighborhoods on one of the daily biking tours that takes you on 10 miles around the city, totaling three hours. Bike tours cost $50 which includes a bike rental.
From tours to the iconic Monument Circle to the more obscure catacombs under City Market, Indiana Landmarks can tell you about the rich history that surounds some of the cities most loved landmarks. They also offer monthly art tours on the first Friday of every month, and if your visit falls on one of those dates, it's a must do.
Indy Brew Bus
Indianapolis has quickly become a must for beer lovers with a slew of local breweries popping up over the past decade. Indy Brew Bus offers tours in Broad Ripple (closest to Indy Hostel), downtown, and even an IMA Art and Beer tour. The Monon and Cultural Trail
If you would rather explore Indy on bike, foot, skateboard, rollerblades, etc. on your own, hop on the Monon trail (less than a block West of the hostel) and turn left to take a short trip into Broad Ripple Village while passing gorgeous murals or a left to travel into the downtown area where you can hop on the Cultural Trail to explore the entirety of the city.
