  • nick

Nick is an exchange student from Brazil. He relocated from california when he recieved an internship from IUPUI. I couldn't have chosen a better city to visit and spend some time during this summer. Indy is beautiful and has a lot of things to do like bike trials, hiking, and great museums and a great night life. My favorite place to go out is Howl at the Moon for the one dollar beer nights and live music. Im having a blast at the hostel and im sure anyone staying would to.

Lauren is originally from the Chicago area but recently transplanted to Indy to study English at Butler University. She just recently returned from a 3-week long solo trip to Iceland: her first transatlantic trip. This has only fueled the wanderlust. Around Indy you can usually find her at one of her favorite coffee shops (Calvin Fletcher's, Hubbard and Craven's, or Quill's) with her laptop and whatever book she's currently reading. She also works at a marketing firm in downtown Indy, Hatchet Marketing

  • ryan

Ryan is the man who makes the world turn, as well as this boat. Difficult he can do, the impossible just takes him a little longer.

  • addison bio

Addison joined Indy Hostel Crew in 2013. He lived on-site for two years. If you visited in 2013-2015 you've seen him napping in the common room snuggled on the couch! He is a staple in the Indianapolis scene and is also the mastermind behind Keep Indy Indie. We are lucky to have him as the Director of Marketing and Promotions at Indy Hostel!

  • paul

Paul is an Indianapolis native and was the main man of the hostel from 2013-2015. He has had a ton of fun experiences and knows the value of meeting good people along life's journey.  His travels abroad started in the Air Force with Okinawa, Japan then Baghdad, Iraq.  He has a degree in Elementary Education, studied in England, and backpacked through much of Europe.  Most recently he was a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand.  After the Peace Corps he journeyed through Nepal, India, Turkey, Morocco, Spain, and Ireland before coming home to his family and friends in Indiana.  Now working and volunteering in Indianapolis, he couldn't be more proud of the changes his city is going through.  Although he loves being home, as the Thais say "his heart beats from his foot," and is always ready for the next adventure. He just returned from a 3 month backbacking trip through Central America.
