Prairie Yoga Studio- Karen Newton, Yoga Instructor, has over ten years of instruction and a 700 hours Yoga Alliance certification in both yoga and yoga therapy. Initially trained under Darin Friesen in Chicago’s renowned Moksha studio, and later working with Nancy Schalk and Heartland Yoga, Karen brings an energetic quality to her teaching as well as a knowledge that will leave you feeling refreshed and balanced.

Bend with Emma- Emma is a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. She practices in the lineage of Pattabhi Jois and believes in the power of the Ashtanga Primary Series to realign, heal, and discipline both body and mind. Her classes use the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series to create balance and ignite energy. She wants to spread the strength she's found through yoga and help others discover that it fits any body, any age, and any fitness level. Off the mat, Emma is a writer and animal-lover, and lives with her husband, four dogs, and two cats. They are dedicated to a sustainable lifestyle that includes veganism, secondhand shopping, composting, and reduce/reuse/recycling.

Alana Bruggner recieved her teacher training with the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA in June of 2013. She is registered through the Yoga Alliance (200hr RYT) with additional training in Chair and Desk Yoga through the Ganesha Studio in Chicago. She currently teaches at Tree House Yoga in Indianapolis and works as an educator at Lululemon Athletica. Alana finds so much passion in using yoga as a tool that not only benefits the body, but overall mindset. As an artist, she is inspired by creative expression in yoga and finds a strong emphasis in music. Her enthusiasm for sharing the benefits of yoga with others is boundless!
